I will tell you about our wandering for each day on separate letters, to avoid very loooooong posts to read on. You can check my other blogs for the tips and how we applied our Korean Visa on this link.
Nothing really happened much on Day 1 because we arrived late in Seoul. We were able to get out at Incheon International Airport maybe around 10 pm (if I remember it correctly), and train stations are closing that time already. That early! Also, we had trouble finding a bus going to our place because ‘day time’ buses are usually just up to 9pm – 11pm depending on the routes. Night Time buses are up until 2AM only. And oh! South Korea is 1 hour advanced compared to Philippine Time.
On our DAY 2, we went to Vivaldi Ski Park because we’re afraid we won’t be able to catch some snow if we’ll be going in a few days or so, because “SPRING” is coming and “WINTER” is ending. I believe the SKI Park is close if it is not in Season. We tried to book in Klook, but at that time, Vivaldi Ski Park was unavailable. We opt for KKday.
KKDay was on time. It includes roundtrip bus coming from Myeongdong to Vivaldi Ski Park and back. Skiing, Snow boarding and riding a cable car are your choices. SKI Outfits are included as well. They may require you to buy gloves as well.
The SKI Park is about 2 hours away from the city. This will indeed take almost your entire day. We were back in the city around 8PM already.
Our day did not end there, we went to Lotte Mart after, which is very near to Seoul Station. We also bought round trip train tickets going to Busan in Seoul Station, because that’s the only place where we can buy the train tickets.
In Lotte Mart, we went shopping for “Pasalubongs”. Don’t forget to bring your passport because they will offer Tax Refunds for Foreigners if you buy more than 30,000 KRW worth of items. This is not only in Lotte Mart, but all stores in Korea. You just have to ask to the cashiers about Tax Refunds.
Who says our day ended in Lotte Mart? No! We went to N seoul Tower afterwards.
N Seoul Tower Ticket here!
The tower closes at 11pm to 12AM. If you’re planning to ride the bus going down after visiting N seoul Tower, you have to check the time of the bus it will end. I think it’s nice to go there at night.
And our Day 2 ended there.
